Can I encourage all the groups to attend our Regional Training Day in the new year to explore the theme “Mumology: the Art and Science of Mothering” and also to take the opportunity offered for networking, and encouraging one another.
As we work and grow together we will raise the level of connectedness and awareness of MOPS in our community. My heart and goal is to see more MOPS groups start in Melbourne’s north eastern suburbs, so if you have mums in your groups from other churches, encourage them to start a group and assist them by shouldering with them through the start up period.
Melbourne has a new Conference venue for 2011 - Lake Dewar YMCA campsite at Myrniong. This is an accessible and lovely venue, so pray for good weather so can enjoy all it has to offer.
